Terms of Reference 2024-2025

The Environmental Committee shall work under the following specific terms of reference:

• Promote and encourage others to Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.
• Provide strategic direction, stewardship support to Green Teams in schools.
• Review environmental related policies of the Federation, WRDSB, and Local, and their impact on the membership.
• Engage the membership in environmental and sustainability issues.
• Advocate for the conservation of natural resources for the well-being of current and future generations.

The Environmental Committee shall also work under the General Terms of Reference as laid out in the WRDECE Local Reference Handbook, as these reflect the fundamental beliefs that guide the actions of the Local.
