Terms of Reference- 2024-2025
The Equity and Social Justice/Human Rights Committee shall work under the following specific terms of reference:
- Survey and review feedback from members and the Federation regarding various methods of increasing engagement of members in Equity, Social Justice, and Human Rights opportunities.
- Provide members with various resources and relevant information via varied methods of communication (e.g., social media, newsletters, etc.)
- Reflecting feedback obtained, provide events, programs and related materials that pertain directly to the support of equity seeking groups.
- Provide awareness/recognition of cultural/religious celebrations to the membership via social media and/or newsletters/events.
The Equity & Social Justice/Human Rights Committee shall also work under the General Terms of Reference as laid out in the WRDECE Local Reference Handbook, as these reflect the fundamental beliefs that guide the actions of the Local.
