Terms of Reference 2025-2026
The Professional Learning Committee shall work under the following specific terms of reference:
- Provide opportunities for members to learn, develop and explore curriculum related to the area of Early Learning/Early Childhood Education.
- Set the parameters annually for the WRDECE Local Professional Learning fund, including but not limited to eligibility, maximum amount to be claimed, and process.
- Provide recommendations to the Local Executive regarding potential professional development at the WRDSB and/or Federation.
The Professional Learning Committee shall also work under the General Terms of Reference as laid out in the WRDECE Local Reference Handbook, as these reflect the fundamental beliefs that guide the actions of the Local.
